Private commission to develop a new pool house by an existing pool and convert an existing out building into a new office and gym.

Pool House

The simple form compliments the main house. The layout includes a bar/kitchen linked to the outside, dining and lounge area. Openings are positioned to maximise aspect to the south and west. ⁠⁠

I’m a big fan of the yellow stucco on the main house and keen to explore materials that might allow the introduction of some subtle colour. ⁠⁠

We're exploring at both in-situ and offsite solutions.

Office and Gym

​

An open plan space has been proposed to accommodate both the office and gym. To achieve this a new roof will be required.

​

As much of the existing out buildings character will be retained through the re-use of the roof tiles and stone work.

​

A new glazed frontage will maximise sunlight and daylight into the space as well as views to the west - towards the main house.
